Luigi's Restaurant: Your Go-To Spot for Delicious Pizza in Akron

This is a Outstanding Italian Restaurant! The Curly Fries were phenomenal, 10/10. The Pizza was just as good, 9/10. And The Water. Well it’s just water, 10/10. The service was overall good and i was originally going to get white milk but when I asked if they have it she said, “Yes I Have Milk”, I ended changing my order to a water. This is a Awsome place and I recommend it!

This is a fabulous, classic Italian restaurant. We went in for a lunch. I got a slice of pizza and a salad for $5.90 and my sister got baked ravioli Florentine, along with a salad. So good! Becky brought us bread fresh from the oven. The folks working there were very welcoming. The place reminds me of one of my favorite old Italian restaurants in Maine. It almost felt like a diner with classic Italian dishes and great staff. Becky was amazing and very patient with us as we explored our options.

We visited Luigi‘s for the first time in downtown Akron. The place was very busy, but we were seated quickly. Our server was exceptional. She never came from the kitchen without stopping at or bringing food, for at least three tables on every trip. The pizza was very good a slightly unique sauce that was appealing. Their cheese is delicious and plentiful. We look forward to stopping back. I’m told we absolutely should try their lasagna.

Luigi's is an Akron staple and absolutely deserves all the praise it receives. I have never had a bad experience in the many years I have been visiting. Brought my dad for the first time (we both live up in the Cleveland area but I work in Akron) and he absolutely enjoyed what he got. He said he wishes it was a bit closer as he would absolutely visit again. One thing to always note is they are a cash only establishment so ensure you bring cash with you. They have an ATM onsite in a pinch.

This was our first visit while in the area due to a recommendation. I definitely got an old pizza shop vibe. We ordered the the pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and green pepper pizza it was amazing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the bottom crust was light in color and could have baked a little longer there was a spot or two under the toppings where the dough seemed a little undercooked.

1st.CASH ONLY ! The food is out of this world. Low prices but the food is worth it 1000%. I had spinach ravioli in tomato sauce( on pic) and it was awesome. They have the good bread . Most of their food is homemade. My lunch total was 16 that is with a small and drink which was extra. My friend had a meat ball casserole. The meat balls were huge. They have been in business a long time. Friendly people who work there. Be ware this is a well known place so you may have to wait. Again Only cash NO CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS. ATM IS NEAR!

The neighborhood, Italian home food, restaurant. You could do family night out or dates. It does have a bar on one side and another diningroom on the other. Waitress was kind, quick, and knowledgeable.of menu. Ours kept our drinks full! We ordered fried zucchini, salads(had ample cheese), pizzas, lasagna, Italian sausage dinner, and meatball dinner. It was all worth the taste and wait. Definately going back soon!

Classic old school Italian. Great pizza, pasta, lasagna, Italian sub... Just excellent all around, an Akron staple.
